Ten minutes ago I didn't know what a blog was, now I'm a blogger.I'm wanting to provide a better way of keeping the TRF body, and anyone else, updated on the fast-moving progress at Camp Apserkaha.
For those who aren't already up to speed; Camp Apserkaha is a county-owned organizational camp located on the Southern shore of Howard Prairie Lake. TRF has recently assumed a five-year lease on the camp.
The camp is located on 66 wooded acres, and has almost one-half mile of lake-frontage. Currently, there is a dining shelter with commercial kitchen, twelve sleeping cabins, and spots for RV and tent camping at the camp.
We anticipate having a wide variety of ministries at the camp in coming years, including adult retreats, youth camps, Super Tuesday outings, as well as link group retreats and family camps.
